UX Objectives

  • Medical Coders needed a way to quickly search and assign CPT codes to patients

  • Coding Managers needed a dashboard to track code additions and changes

  • A central data repository was needed in order to avoid errors and communication voids

My Responsibilities

  • Whiteboard with CEO and Product Owner on personas and flow diagrams

  • Interview coders in order to obtain pain points with their current system

  • Create an information architecture based up the chronological needs of medical coders and their managers

  • Run moderated usability tests on Angular coded low-fi (and later hi-fi) prototypes

  • Using flat design, create a design system with all the components we would need for the user experience

  • Deliver Figma hi-fi prototypes to developers
